HR Records / HRIS Specialist

Seminole State College of Florida is accepting applications for a HR Records/HRIS Specialist to join our team of dynamic HR professionals. This position reports to the Manager of HR Records and Reporting and provides specialized operational, administrative and functional expertise to the Office of Human Resources.  The HR Records/HRIS Specialist works closely with both the HRIS Analyst and Records Specialist to maintain data accuracy within the HRIS system and process employment documentation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business or related field.
2. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a professional office environment with at least one year of experience with HRIS Systems such as Oracle/PeopleSoft.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business or related field.
2. Experience working with federal and state laws and regulations related to employment and recordkeeping.
3. Experience in Higher Education.
4. Intermediate level experience using HRIS systems, especially PeopleSoft or Oracle.
