We have 70 locations throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Lake, Seminole, and Orange counties with plans for future growth. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Sonographer with OBGYN experience to join our dynamic team at our OB/GYN Specialists office located in Oviedo, Florida.
JOB SUMMARY: Provides professional clinical support following established standards and practices. Refers matters outside their scope of duties to the Clinical Coordinator or Unit Administrator.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
- Complete fetal surveys.
- Perform Hystero sonograms.
- Perform 3D-4D scans.
- Evaluate the images for their quality, but also to interpret what was captured in the image.
- Document/update information in patient’s electronic medical record.
- Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
- Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum four years of recent OB/GYN experience.
- Experience with 3D-4D scans.
- Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
- Valid Nuchal Translucency certification.
- Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in an effective manner.
- Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- eCW electronic medical record experience a plus
INTERACTIONS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must possess the ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of internal personnel, providers, personnel of outside organizations, and patients and their family members.
- Must possess good organizational skills, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and be able to work effectively with all levels of aforementioned groups.
- May be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sedentary position in medical office setting with recurrent sitting and standing. Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination with frequent computer monitor usage. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing.
