Our Exciting Work EnvironmentThe Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room has been in operation since 1948.
We are owned and operated by Delaware North Companies.

Our location offers an ultramodern 53,000 square feet complex with a luxurious expanded Poker Room, Clubhouse Restaurant, wall to wall flat screen and big screen LCD TV s as well as private betting carrels to watch your favorite Thoroughbred or Harness Horse Races, Jai-Alai or Greyhound Races from premier tracks around the country.
We also have cornhole tournaments and live concerts.
We are a major sponsor of Greyhound Pets of America (GPA).
We provide support to GPA through financial donations, fundraisers and use of our facilities for their donation center and kennel compound.
When greyhounds finish their racing career, GPA places them in a loving home where they can enjoy their retirement.
The OpportunityResponsible for providing excellent service to guests in the restaurant.
Assists guests and associates in person according to the GuestPath DBKC Universal Service Standards.
Ensures that the server's entire station is polished and ready for the incoming reservations.
ResponsibilitiesRemains knowledgeable of lunch, dinner and specials menu in order to assist guest.
Greets guests, introduces self and reviews specials.
Responsible for following company policies and procedures including Alcohol Service and GuestPath.
Maintains a Florida approved food handling certification.
QualificationsMust have at least one year of fine dining service experience.
Must be able to demonstrate good basic math and server skills.
Must be at least eighteen years of age because alcohol service is required.
Physical RequirementsThe following are essential for the tasks assigned to this Verbal Communication, Written Communication.
Standing and walking 100% of the time.
Requires some bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, seeing and hearing.
Must be able to speak and understand English fluently.
