Job Title: Brand Engagement Manager
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Vice President of Marketing
OVERVIEW/POSITION PURPOSE:
The Brand Engagement Manager is responsible for planning, creating and executing content across all earned and owned channels to increase brand and mission awareness for Give Kids The World Village. He / She will help craft and tell the story of The Village in meaningful ways to support overall business and marketing objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the content calendar, in collaboration with various internal teams, and execute in owned and earned media channels
- Build relationships with thought leaders to increase awareness, leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within the industry
- In addition to Publicity, provide new ways to support our Signature Events, campaigns and corporate partners
- Design and implement social media strategy and oversee all social media channels/accounts
- Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of earned and owned channels, most appropriate measurement metrics to determine success for each channel and analytic tools (Sprinklr, Cision, etc.)
- Produce, edit, publish and share engaging content to support social media plans
- Community Management oversight
- Stay current on emerging technology, platforms and trends to generate new ideas and increase brand engagement
- Work with all departments of the Village on initiatives as deemed necessary
PHYSICAL DEMANDS BEYOND NORMAL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to travel for overnight occasions
- Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including battery-operated golf cart
- Ability to lift and transfer 25 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge of Social Media platforms and best practices for all of them
- Expert grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills; experience using strong written communication skills to conceptualize, structure, and write compelling copy transforming complex information into clear, engaging content
- Photo/video skills a plus
- Strong collaborative skills for working inter-departmentally
- Excellent relationship and communication skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- BA Degree in Public Relations, Marketing or relevant field. APR accreditation is a plus
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in Social Media and Public Relations
