POSITION OBJECTIVE
Perform a wide range of administrative functions under the direction of the Director of Food & Beverage to ensure the effectiveness of the department and the Reunion team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide administrative support to the Food and Beverage department.
- Communicate all requests and projects within the Department.
- Coordinate various tasks on a daily basis including scheduling appointments, provide information to callers, compose, type and distribute correspondence, e-mails, and BEO’s.
- Contract/Invoice Administration: Log-in and track all department invoices. Distribution of purchases and office supplies.
- Assist Food and Beverage managers with common office related duties (phone coverage, front desk, reservations, special events, etc…).
- Maintain accuracy and orderliness of all files – includes vertical and horizontal filing system.
- Assists with Receptionist duties as necessary.
- Provide inquiry support for both internal and external “clients”, be resourceful to problem resolution.
- Generate various reports for both internal and external use.
- Be able to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the resort as directed by the immediate supervisor.
- Be a positive and helpful resource in all aspects of duties, seek solutions when needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as business demands.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma required.
- Prior administrative experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or two to four (2-4) years of experience in a related area preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
- Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Position may require to work a rotating schedule, in addition to occasional weekends and holidays.
