The role of a Bartender is to provide top quality food and beverage service to our guests, as well as support the service team's beverage service needs.
THE ROLE
Prepare all drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
Follow all rules of responsible alcohol service including age/ID verification
Follow all established recipes and procedures for beverage preparation and product control
Practice proper cash handling procedures by addressing the point of sale system after every transaction
Maintain the cleanliness of the bar, glassware, utensils, counters, and floors
Assist with stocking the bars with liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes, glassware, utensils, cocktail napkins, etc.
Assist with inventory of all liquor and bar-related supplies
Ensure that guests receive immediate, friendly, and personalized service
Act as final check on the quality of food and beverage items, and collect on all payments due
Maintain a high-level of knowledge regarding Drive Shack’s products and happenings
Perform other duties as requested by management
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and current/recent cocktail trends
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in the state of Florida
Must be friendly, outgoing, and able to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment
Work schedule varies and will include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods both indoors and outdoors
Organizational, teamwork, and multi-tasking skills a must
Food safety and alcohol awareness certification
One or more years of experience working as a bartender
Experience with a cash-register and a point of sale system
