Manager, Student Communications Center

Great opportunity to join the Seminole State College team of student focused professionals as a Manager of our Student Communications Center!  

This position coordinates and manages Student Affairs-related student communications from prospect through graduation via phone calls, e-mail ,text, letters, scripts, promotional materials and the Web. Writes, edits and tracks mass communication campaigns.  Analyzes data and compiles reports from dashboards and other databases to recommend contact strategies for students to the Associate Vice President of Student Recruitment and Enrollment.  Develops communications campaigns, training materials and trains outsourced Call Center regarding policies, procedures and updates.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
2. Two years of experience in written communication as a journalist, copy writer or writing articles for publication.
3. One year of supervisory experience.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s degree from an accredited institution in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
2. One year of experience in student services and/or college administration.
