Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center , a newly renovated hotel located in the International Drive tourist corridor, is now hiring for Part Time Cocktail Servers for our Pool and for our upscale Lobby Bar. The Cocktail Server will be responsible for immediately extending an hospitable greeting to all guests and provide them with table-side service in a most professional and efficient manner; while ensuring that you are operating in compliance with all F & B controls.
Job Duties:
- Offer food and beverage services based upon the menu and guest request.
- Have knowledge of Café and Barista menu options.
- To assist in the sales of the food & beverage menu’s to our in-house guest that will increase the outlets capture ratio and revenues per occupied room as compared to budget.
- Operate POS systems in a expedient manner.
- To be cross-trained in both food and beverage areas so that guests are serviced in the most efficient manner.
- Assist with all special bar promotions.
- To be familiar with the beverage requisition system (bottle for bottle pull system).
- Keep all beverage areas clean and organized including both front and back-of-the-house areas.
- Assist with all catered / banquet functions if required.
Job Requirements:
- Previous server experience (1-2 years minimum)
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Well rounded knowledge in food & beverage servicing.
- Product knowledge.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to operate the POS system
- Serve Safe and TIPs Certified preferred
- Pass Drug test

Paramount Hospitality Management is the ownership company opening this new group conference hotel after purchasing it and closing for a complete renovation in 2017. Opening in March 2018, this hotel resort will be non branded and will have a strong focus on group sales and catering.
