Summary
We are not just seeking an employee to simply teach our customers but instead we are searching a dynamic trainer with the ability to provide engaging learning experiences to our subscribers. We are MFRMLS; the largest Realtor® owned multiple listing service in the state of Florida. Realtors® are the subscribers we serve. We believe in hiring and retaining the best trainers to work with our customers. We have a dynamic, fast-paced, personable, accountable environment. In this role, you will train customers on products and services in both English and Spanish. You will also work with a team in the design, development, and delivery of instructional material and delivery methods for training courses both internally for staff and externally for users that support company products.

The successful candidate must have a strong desire and capacity to learn as well as a desire to help others. We like to have fun while achieving the results our customers and stakeholders expect.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  •     Present training content in multiple media formats to the customers and/or staff in both English and Spanish
  •     Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of MFRMLS products and services
  •     Create, develop, update, and improve training content in both English and Spanish within required deadlines
  •     Record, edit, and produce training videos in both English and Spanish
  •     Maintain personal schedule and assist in quality control of team schedule
  •     Communicate effectively and in a timely manner
  •     Accurately account for business related expenses and mileage as well as adhere to all other company policies
  •     Maintain professionalism with vendors, customers, shareholder association staff, and staff at all times
  •     Able to travel in our service area
  •     Being able to work remote as required for the position
  •     Able to work long hours, approximately 10-12 hours
  •     Occasional over-time per job requirements
  •     Attendance is an essential function of the position
  •     Being physically present in the work environment is an essential job function

Other Essential Skills

  •     Experience delivering classroom training in a corporate-environment preferred
  •     Fluent in reading, writing and speaking both English and Spanish
  •     Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and control a room during presentations, training and events
  •     Team-player, with ability to be extremely effective independently
  •     Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to detail
  •     Ability to use technology for position, including but not limited to: computers, tablets, mobile phones, projectors, internet, wireless connections, laser pointer, remotes, audio, etc. Able to troubleshoot basic issues when necessary
  •     Ability to adapt to changing environment and meet deadlines
  •     Sound judgement
  •     Exceptional verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  •     Ability to respond appropriately and professionally while effectively fielding questions and controlling a room during presentations
  •     Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or other format
  •     Possess basic math skills with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent as well as ability to interpret bar graphs
  •     Previous Real Estate related experience a plus

Education, Certificates, and Software

  •     2 years of training experience
  •     1 year of experience with course development in some capacity (troubleshooting, support)
  •     Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems) a plus
  •     Online course development experience a plus
  •     Expert with Microsoft Power Point
  •     Experience with Articulate and Storyline 2 a plus
  •     Bachelor’s degree highly desired
