Hiring for Packaging & Assembly Positions
Salary: $9.00 per hour
Location: Downtown Orlando, FL
Hours: Monday thru Friday 9am - 5pm
Job Description:
Busy warehouse in Downtown Orlando is hiring for Packaging and Assembly. Responsibilities will be to manually package and assemble different kits containing cosmetic and promotional items.
Requirements:
1. Physical ability to be on your feet all day long and lifting up to 45 lbs repeatedly throughout your shift and collating multiple items into boxes.
2. Be able to follow directions and be a very quick learner.
3. Work in a very fast pace environment and understand that you need to make a certain # of boxes per hour.
4. Be very accurate and FAST and be able to work independently as well as with a team.
5. Provide quality control -- if a product is wrong, bring it to the attention of the supervisor. Double check your work to make sure each box contains the right items. NO BOX leaves the station that is wrong.
6. Be able to tape boxes securely and place on pallets.
7. Be responsible for keeping your work station clean, dumping trash, hauling trash to the baler.
8. Be able to count and label products accurately.
9. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
10. Must have clean criminal background.
