Planetarium Operations & Production Specialist

Seminole State College of Florida is looking for an out of this world, star applicant for our Planetarium Operations & Production Specialist job posting. The Planetarium Operations and Production Specialist is responsible for the daily operations of the planetarium, production and presentation of shows, and providing assistance to the Planetarium Manager in daily operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associate’s degree or the equivalent from an accredited institution.

2. Minimum of two years of experience as a planetarium specialist or in a related position.

3. Extensive experience with computers (Windows and Mac operating systems) and software across a variety of platforms.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a Physical Sciences-related field, and at least two years of experience in a planetarium environment.
