Full Time Bookkeeper responsible for applying professional knowledge and skills in order to prepare and present financial statements. This information assists management in the formulation of policies and planning. Experience with financial statements, general ledgers, bank reconciliations, budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections are required.

Position Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank account.
  • Process cash transfers as necessary.

Accounting

  • Prepare, review and analyze financial statements.
  • Prepare account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and book journal entries.
  • Knowledge of general accounting and general ledgers.

Other

  • Prepare internal documents for year-end audits/review and tax return.
  • Miscellaneous data entry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Ability

  • Detail orientation and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills via email, phone, and face-to face interactions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel, Word, Paypal and other accounting software packages. 

Minimum Experience

  • Degree in Accounting or a related field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum 2 years full-cycle accounting experience is preferred.

Special Requirements

Physical demands and work environment: This position requires a substantial amount of sitting and working at a computer station.
