SUMMARY Provide business intelligence reporting and data analyses for client base consisting of ministry fund developers across Cru ministries, their leadership, and their support/administrative teams in order to assess fundraising engagement results and drive decision making. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

FOR THIS POSITION:
- Assist in determining information needs of national, regional and local Fund Development teams through discussion and interviewing.
- Capture specifications and code new reports and analyses, including testing to ensure requirements are met.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of existing reports and analyses.
- Work with high level technical experts in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new analytics software or significant enhancements to existing analytics software.
- Support clients and provide technical assistance as needed to resolve customer complaints or program errors in analytics reporting systems. Respond to needs or suggestions for improvements to systems.
- Work with the Data Science and Analytics team to identify data gaps in Business Intelligence and CRM systems.
- Train fund development staff on report use basics and interpretation.
- Develop/troubleshoot data process solutions for mass data imports, changes, or deletes, in order to meet ongoing needs of ministry development teams and maintain data hygiene. Work closely with Digital Products & Services (DPS), Donation Services (DSG), and Cru ministries.
- Perform high level analysis of development metrics to solve problems and discover opportunities.
- Implement best practices for data visualization and report presentation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Enterprise reporting and analytics systems (Oracle Business Intelligence) and integrated enterprise systems (Siebel CRM; Adobe Marketing Cloud).
- Programming logic, including SQL.
- Data structures and database concepts.
- Query building and report writing.
- Data visualization and presentation.
- Utilization of Google Apps and Microsoft Office products (especially Excel spreadsheets).
- Microsoft Access database.
- Financial practices and fundraising concepts.
ABILITY TO:
- Utilize effectively enterprise reporting systems (Oracle Business Intelligence) and integrated enterprise systems (Siebel CRM; Adobe Marketing Cloud).
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency when using Google Apps and Microsoft Office products (especially Excel spreadsheets).
- Demonstrate high level critical thinking skills.
- Train team members and other development professionals on new tools, features, and functions available.
- Work with technical experts across the ministry to solve complex problems.
- Ability to act independently and proactively under general direction.
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Associates degree (in information systems, data analysis, or related field)
- 3-5 years of experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
