SUMMARY The Director’s Assistant/Project Coordinator will perform a wide variety of administrative duties for the Director of Film Production and plan and implement many of the projects of the department, especially those that are cross-departmental and involve teams and ministries outside of Jesus Film Project and/or Cru. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track and administer director’s calendar/make travel arrangements.
- Represent the department by answering questions.
- Assist with annual budget and monthly expenses.
- Manage projects from beginning to completion.
- Determine project timeframes, funding, procedures, resources.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, legal personnel, managers, vendors, partners, marketing, leaders, national and international staff.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Offices practices.
- Standard project management processes.
- Budget preparation and control. Interpret financial statements and reports.
- Advances knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and database management. Type 60 wpm.
- Ability to coordinate multiple complex projects running simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: two years college level work in office management and three to five years experience in secretarial or office management positions of increasing responsibility.
