Biomedical Technician - Water Department

We are looking to hire new talent for our BioMed Department. This position offers flexible scheduling and an independent work environment. Employee’s principle responsibility is to maintain and repair portable water purification systems at customer (health care facility) locations. The right candidate may eventually receive training to enable repair of additional bio-medical technologies.

A solid candidate would have at least 2 years of documented experience in plumbing/electronics/electrical (journeyman or technical/dialysis certification preferred).

A strong mechanical aptitude is required.

Routine duties include:

• conducts daily repairs and upgrades to water systems as needed - performs water samples, endotoxin and heavy metal testing
• monthly preventive maintenance on all water systems, including sanitization and electrical safety
• maintenance of all records in regard to testing and repairs performed

Requirements:

• Valid FL driver's license
• Completion of CEU program specific to the field of dialysis water systems
• Completion of any required security clearances for various hospital systems
• Dependable personal transportation to enable travel to customer locations
