Quality Assurance Technician Level 2
Metal Fabrication Manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician Level 2.
Will be responsible for executing the Quality Assurance functions of the division, including but not limited to Quality policies, procedures and programs to insure compliance to the ISO 9001 – 2015 standard, customer specifications, and customer satisfaction. Promote positive relations with the production staff to enhance the Quality culture and awareness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Audit and Prepare In-Process and Final Audit Report (WIP Sheets) based on customer prints
• 1st Piece Approval Process
• Assist production with print interpretation and gauging when needed.
• Operation of CMM, Faro Arm, Virtek, or any other Quality Instruments (insert virtek/laser QC Scanner w/i)
• Basic understanding of process capability studies and analysis.
• Perform floor inspection, shipping & receiving, source and final inspections with maintenance of records and logs.
• Know the Company Quality Policy and Quality Objectives
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Understand, process, and complete all documents, records, reports and logs pertaining to job duties and functions
• Good understanding of the ISO 9001 requirements and related QMS processes
• Must wear required safety equipment and follow Safety Policy.
• Advanced GD & T knowledge
• Calibration of instruments and gauges utilizing Gage Pack software (enter Calibration documents).
• Enter Data for SPC software.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: 2 year degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
Experience: 1-5 years in a Quality Engineering/Technician discipline. 1-2 years of supervisory experience
Computer Skills: CAD, Microsoft Office, SPC based software.
Special Requirements: Proficient in GD&T, Blueprint reading, Knowledgeable of SPC, PPAP submissions including FMEA and Control Plan creation.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes to include: stamping, laser, CNC punch, press brake and welding. Good communication skills, team player, ability to multi-task.

Salary: $12.00-$17.00 (based on experience)
Shift: 1st 6:00am-2:30pm / 2nd 2:30pm-10:00pm / 3rd 10:00-6:30
Term: Fulltime - Hire
