Are you an experienced CPA that would love owning your schedule and the ability to work from home?

Thaney & Associates, CPAs are looking for experienced CPAs that are willing to work part time or full time. This position is an unique, virtual role that will allow you to work outside the office, but be in constant communication with the rest of the staff.

As our client list continues to grow, it’s necessary to build a team that will support the continued growth of our firm. This is a great opportunity for those looking to make a real impact, but with a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home. We do ask for availability during normal business hours to meet with partners and clients as needed.

We are looking for CPAs who are organized, resourceful, proactive, and accountable for their work, but can also:

• Resolve a wide range of accounting issues
• Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in solving problems
• Perform proactively and self-managed
• Clearly communicate directly (virtually via email or phone)
• Must be organized and meticulous

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 3 years of experience in Public Accounting
• Experience with various Federal and State tax returns including individual, corporate, trust, estate, nonprofit and partnership
• Knowledge in U.S. GAAP
• Financial Statement knowledge - audit, review, and compilation
• Strong technology skills - Excel, Word, Outlook, and CCH Axcess software preferred
