Systems Administrator

Seminole State College of Florida is accepting applications for a Systems Administrator from candidates with strong experience with IT networks and support services. This position assists in the day to day operations of campus networks and support servers and services, including physical and virtual environments, by providing software installations, updates, system backups and second tier user support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or related field.
2. Two years of experience in a medium to large IT environment.
3. One year of direct experience of field support in a medium to large network setting.
4. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows servers, Linux, Directory Services.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or related field. 
2. Three years of experience in a medium to large IT support staff.
