SUMMARY
Designs and assembles system furniture reconfigurations while assuring they are maintained in a safe condition and in compliance with applicable codes. Maintains inventory and records related to work performed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives and processes work orders requesting system furniture reconfigurations. Work from sketches, plans, drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications. Installs, maintains and modifies fixtures such as frames, panels, cabinets, windows and accessories with the systems furniture reconfigurations. Performs daily adjustments/service orders and emergency repairs to systems furniture as well as preventative maintenance on building systems furniture.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Assembling system furniture.
Standard tools, equipment, materials, methods and techniques used in a variety of construction and building maintenance trades.
Operation and proper maintenance of tools, equipment and machinery used in the building trades.
Read and interpret schematics, blue prints, sketches and diagrams
Perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair of systems furniture
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Maintain records related to work performed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma plus three to five years of experience with maintenance responsibilities.
Certificates, License, Registrations:
Valid Florida Driver’s License
Fork Lift Operator Certification a plus
