South Seminole Hospital is seeking Patient Safety Attendants to join our team.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Assists in meeting personal needs and comfort care of the patient in a timely manner, assisting with telephone calls or retrieving personal care items as needed.
Provides diversionary activities such as reading aloud to the patient. Assists the patient with nutrition needs as necessary.
Accompanies the patient to diagnostic testing and procedures. Immediately reports any changes in the patients behaviors to the RN.
Receives report from the RN and previous sitter and gives report to the RN and oncoming sitter before leaving.
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
