Drivers - CDL-A Team Driver Wanted

Lake Trucking has been awarded a large contract for dedicated refrigerated products.

To fulfill our contract Lake will be immediately hiring 30 or more experienced over the road drivers.

“There is no place like Home” is our motto and we mean it. We offer 4 day dedicated routes with 2 – 3 days per week home time

Working as a TEAM driver allows you to deliver quickly and return home quickly.

We specialize in highly perishable, refrigerated products and time-sensitive shipments, and with all the new business we are bringing on this year, we are hiring CDL-A TEAM Drivers. We want professional drivers who will drive safely and efficiently.

We provide 2018 & 2019 Freightliner Cascadia trucks, leased from Ryder. We have had a 25 year partnership with Ryder and a Gold rating which means if your truck breaks down you will not be sitting for days, Ryder will replace the truck if they can't fix it quickly! Getting you home. Also, once you return we have employees who wash and detail each truck inside and out!

What we want:
Class A CDL and 2 Yr. tractor-trailer experience
Teams Experience (a plus but not required)
Ability to drive in inclement weather
Must be able to lift between 50 and 100 lbs.
Must be able to work a manual pallet jack
Employer does reference/background checks, motor vehicle checks, drug screen and road tests.

What the job requires:
Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW
Transport and deliver refrigerated goods to dedicated customer locations, and backhaul vendor dedicated refrigerated goods
Verify/check invoices/BOL's- Interact with customers with a positive attitude during deliveries and backhauls.
