Installation Technician

We have immediate openings for full time installation technicians in the Orlando area.  The job is extremely travel intensive covering installations throughout the Southeastern US.  The installation team almost always travels together as a unit and departs from Orlando.  All travel expenses are paid by the company and necessary tools are provided as well.

We install low voltage security related systems in commercial applications.  Examples include infant security systems in hospitals, anti-elopement systems in assisted living as well as wired and wireless nurse call systems, access control systems, ip cameras, etc.  Typical duties for this position include installing low voltage cabling, mounting and terminating system devices (such as power supplies, keypads, magnetic locks, RF antennas, dome lights, nurse call jacks, etc.), setting up system computers on a network, programming and testing of the completed installation.

Candidates should live in the Orlando area.  At least 3 years of experience installing low voltage systems is required.  A valid drivers license and a willingness to travel are a must.  Other requirements include the ability to work frequently from a step ladder, use power tools, maintain a clean work environment, perform basic computer tasks, work effectively with a team and a basic understanding of simple electrical circuits including relays.
