Alegeus seeks a Health Savings Account (HSA) Banking Operations Analyst to join their dedicated, passionate team of professionals.  The HSA Banking Operations Analyst will be responsible for performing daily back office banking services provided to Employers, TPA’s & Banks in relation to their employer groups utilizing Alegeus solutions for their Health Savings Account (HSA) benefits. Candidate must be creative, detail oriented, highly organized, self-driven and motivated to meet the growing needs of our organization.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure HSA Banking Operations, back office tasks, including Consumer Identity Process (CIP) & Office of Foreign Asset and Controls (OFAC), and HSA transaction processing, are executed within all parameters and guidelines as outlined by the company policies and practices
  • Self-manage work assignments, processing all work within designated Service Level Agreement timeframes
  • Provide a consistent quality level of service taking a proactive approach to identify and eliminate potential processing issues
  • Apply banking knowledge to work within organization to enhance systems and performance.
  • Research complex intake requests/banking transactions, identify and propose solutions that lead to a positive client/customer experience
  • Proactively identify potentially fraudulent accounts, escalate internally and monitor for areas of risk
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of 3+ years of experience in audit, compliance or consulting in Retail Banking industry
  • Exposure to multiple processing environments executing back-office support functions of HSA’s a plus
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technology and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and have an execution-focused approach
