The Campus Safety & Security division of Rollins College is seeking a safety-minded, conscientious professional for an opportunity at our main campus. The Security Officer patrols  the campus on foot or by motor vehicle to ensure protection of all campus faculty, staff, students and visitors, as well as all campus buildings, structures and property. Enforcing traffic and parking regulations, providing security at a variety of on-campus special functions and assisting in the implementation of safety/security programs are among duties.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years of job-related experience
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR)
  • CPR and First Aid certification and State of Florida Class D security license within
    90 days of hire
  • Demonstrated knowledge of modern police practices and procedures
  • PC skills sufficient to prepare security incident reports
