Cook Needed for a private commercial kitchen
Full Time Monday through Friday 6am-4pm
Vacation, Sick, Medical Coverage and 401K Benefits
Mass production of predetermined menu items including special diets in a commercial kitchen for home delivery. This is not a restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all served food
- Plan food production to coordinate with inventory needs
- Comprehend menu items including special diet requirements
- Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum experience in cooking in commercial kitchen
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in teams
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- ServSafe Certification or similar
