Summary:
Provide Operational Finance stakeholders guidance, reports and annual budget preparation assistance; interact with the leadership of various Operational Finance customers (as assigned); review, analyze and record accurate journal entries
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- How to analyze and interpret financial statements/reports and present to a variety of groups.
- Budgeting preparation and controls
- How to work both independently with little direction or supervision, and being able to work well with Senior Financial Leader direction
- Advanced personal computer operation including word processing and spreadsheets, with a strong ability to learn new software skills.
- Performing tasks with extreme attention to detail.
- Maintaining a positive attitude even during periods of heavy workload.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- How to learn, apply and explain policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university and a minimum of 3 years of professional reporting and budgeting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
