SUMMARYWe’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our dedicated and focused team in Orlando. Under the general supervision of the Payroll Team Leader, you’ll perform a variety of complex and technical payroll related and administrative duties to ensure that U.S. and International Interns and Part Time Field staff are paid according to established ministry guidelines along with state and federal regulations.

For this position:
- Process employee payroll records for U.S. and International Interns and Part Time Field staff. Set up, modify, and terminate payroll records.
- Assist in processing year end W-2 tax forms. Respond to questions related to taxes and make adjustments to records as necessary. Work in partnership with the international payroll specialists.
- Answer telephone and e-mail inquiries, research questions or problems, correspond with U.S. and International Interns and Part Tim field staff regarding the hire process and hire paperwork, and answer questions regarding semi-monthly payroll.
- Communicate with regional offices and HR representatives to clarify and respond to questions regarding existing U.S. and International Intern procedures and policies. Communicate new policies and procedures as needed.
- Prepare and maintain files of records and documents relating to Orientation weekend including annually updating hire documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Orientation handbook. Present material annually to Staff Services leadership.
- Verify accuracy and authorize additional salary or off cycle checks for U.S. and International Interns.
- Participate in policy development /implementation, often partnering with other teams as necessary.
- Handle special projects, assist other team members as the need arises or as requested by the Payroll Team Leader of the Staff Services Group Leader.
