Successful family owned shop seeking full time office manager. Job responsibilities include Billing, Payables, Payroll, Filing, and Special Projects as needed.
• Location: Sanford, FL 32771
• Job Duration: Contract-to-hire (600 hour contract before permanent conversion)
• Pay Rate: $20/hr
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm
• 2 weeks PTO/year; No medical benefits
• Experience in construction or related industry
• Experience with AR, AP, payroll and billing
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Minimal intermediate Excel proficiency, including ability to extrapolate, clean up, and format data; understanding formulas, such as recognizing cells that cannot be overwritten.
• Must be dependable, able to work well with others, and comfortable in shop setting.
• Enter weekly payroll inclusive of Job Cost Accounting procedure
• Set Up and Maintain Customer Job Files
• Enter Invoices, Deposits, and Payments into QuickBooks on a daily basis
• Prepare and send monthly invoices to customers following construction billing methods
• Payment of invoices on a weekly basis
• Be the voice to our customers by handling the phones
• Maintain vendor payable files
• Support various needs of Shop employees
• Act as Executive Assistant for Shop Owners
