Job Responsibilities/Functions:

• Unloads product utilizing proper equipment and material-handling techniques to minimize damages
• Attaches labels to product; verifies SKU’s and product information to ensure bar code accuracy and reduce inventory variances; prints additional labels if necessary
• Verifies purchase orders to confirm accuracy of product received
• Cleans trailers and containers
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area and throughout the warehouse overall
• Examines product for damages; notifies Supervisors of damaged product; documents reasons for damages; returns product to appropriate location in the warehouse for repairs if necessary
• Completes assigned tasks in regards to reports and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Provides total customer satisfaction through interaction with associates in other departments
• Conducts on-the-job training for new associates
• Completes other duties as assigned    

Job Requirements

Qualifications Preferred:

• Previous warehouse/distribution center experience
• Basic computer knowledge
• Knowledge of barcoding and computerized inventory system

• Flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays)
