Location: Orlando Health Emergency Room and Medical Pavilion Osceola

Department: Financial Planning

Orlando health is seeking a Financial Analyst Specialist,Senior. This person will provideadvanced level support for a variety of corporate programs including, but notlimited to, benchmarking, internal data collection, input and reporting.

Education Required

Bachelors degree in BusinessAdministration with a major in Accounting or Finance.

Experience

Four(4) years financial analysis experience is required. Extensive PC experience withMicrosoft Office software is required. A Masters degree may offset two yearsof required experience.

Essential Functions

- Maintains security access for users of the EPSI system;assists in ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the EPSI system.

-Captures volume statistics at the department and site levels; evaluate, packageand disseminates data to various users.

-Performs financial analysis and other financial information as requested.

-Participates in the development of the capital and operating budgets and thefive year financial forecast.

-Provides historical statistical trend analysis and makes formal projections ofinformation using forecasting and modeling assumptions.

-Completes surveys and questionnaires using data assimilated from variousdepartments and systems in the organization.

-Accumulates and records statistics in appropriate spreadsheets, databases andother computer systems.

-Serves on tasks forces/committees and provides financial information.

-Assists in month end process by performing analysis, allocations and/or reviewof actual and budgeted data.

-Maintains chart of accounts and other tables in the Financial Planning systemsincluding McKesson Trendstar, Thomson ACTION O-I, EPSi and the Strata suite offorecasting and capital software.

-Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with OrlandoHealth policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policiesand procedures.

Other Related Functions

- Participates on special projects as assigned.

-Completes all Orlando Health mandatory education.

- Assumes the responsibility for professional growth anddevelopment.
