At the Caribe Royale we are extremely excited about the expansion of the Grand Caribe Convention Center, the complete renovation of all 1,335 suites and a new lobby creating a new “arrival experience”. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for an experienced Hotel Manager to be part of the reimagining of Central Florida’s largest all-suite convention hotel. This individual will be extremely energetic, highly experienced, and very excited to oversee the overall operation of the hotel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth overall operation of our 1,335 all-suite hotel, with a focus on Housekeeping, rooms/front office, food & beverage, and security
- Implement strategic plan for elevation of standards and expectations throughout property
- Provide all guests with an exceptional 4-diamond service experience while maximizing hotel revenue and productivity
- Maintain staffing needs at an appropriate level to match business demands and expectations
- Closely monitor the financial performance of the hotel
- Hold management and staff accountable to stay within budgetary guidelines
- Collaborate with a cross functional team to ensure guest satisfaction at all critical points of stay
- Proactively anticipate needs of guests and associates
- Ensure facilities and staff are in compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines
- Work with associates at all levels to develop necessary skills to meet and exceed expectations
Qualifications – Skills:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Hotel Manager (or comparable position) in a 4-diamond environment
- Experience in a hotel with at least 1,000 rooms
- Attention to detail
- Effective in providing exceptional guest service
- Energetic and creative team player
- Motivational Leader
- Clear, concise communication skills (written and verbal)
- Calm demeanor, with excellent dispute resolution skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management or related field
