Consultant, Value Based Care - Operations - Orlando Health Medical Group
Orlando health is seeking a Consultant, Value Based Care- Operations. This person directlysupports the Orlando Health Networks population health activities in various valuebased care arrangements via the ongoing development and maintenance of theClinically Integrated Network (CIN), optimization of network practiceperformance in various Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and other valuebased care payment models, and the development and implementation of diverseclinical and strategic programs.
Bachelors degree in health administration, business administration,public health, health sciences, or other related field required.
Completion of either one (1) year in an AdministrativeFellowship/Residency program or two (2) years of professional work in ahospital, physician group, or payer administration setting.
Identifies, evaluates and understands national and localtrends in healthcare, competitor activities, consumer preferences, economicconditions, physician issues, reimbursement trends, new technology, andregulatory requirements.
Works with Orlando Health, Inc., Orlando Health PhysicianPartners (OHPP), and Collaborative Care of Florida, LLC (CCFL) executives andphysician leaders to develop and support adopted strategy of clinicalintegration and network development.
Coordinates a variety of complex and independentactivities for the team, including activities to support initiatives related tothe Accountable Care Organizations and Bundled Payment programs.
Maintains working knowledge of healthcare systems,physician integration, insurance products, regulatory/legislative policy, andhealthcare data to aid in research and production of insightful informationintended to guide decision making.
Works collaboratively with other team members on thedevelopment of networks, including active participation in physicianrecruitment as related to network growth for both CIN development and for othercontemplated network arrangements.
Functions as a member on the negotiations and transactionsteam in complex alignment transactions with physicians, including working withphysicians who are interested in pursuing alignment with Orlando Health throughvarious affiliation models.
Meets regularly with designated provider practices tosupport clinical practice transformation, disseminate ACO quality andutilization performance reports, and engage in productive dialogue to supportthe Triple Aim within Orlando Health Network.
Connects practices to significant network member benefitsincluding continuing medical education (CME) opportunities, scheduled collegialprovider gatherings, and access to a variety of software-based care managementresources.
Coordinates and participates in the strategic planningprocess in collaboration with administrative and physician leadership todevelop short and long term plans including goals, budgets, financialforecasts, and clinical/program targets.
Collaborates with other departments to develop relevantmarketing plans, operational/business plans, and/or to support the achievementof organizational and clinical service goals.
Serves as project management support and tracks allassigned Orlando Health Network initiatives to assist with planning andimplementation of system-wide business strategies.
Stays current on organizational and industry informationsystems, human resources, finance, facility management, materials management,marketing, risk management, legal, corporate compliance, quality, and otherrelevant departments.
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendanceconsistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, stateand local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies andprocedures.

Works comfortably in teams as a participant and facilitator, includingtemporary teams for project-based initiatives.
Participates in professional healthcare and community associations to keepabreast of current healthcare trends.
