Job Responsibilities:
Install and maintain computer and network equipment, to ensure that the technical needs of employees as well as guests are met
Follow through with all information and instruction from IT management, to ensure that the network runs smoothly
Respond to all vulnerabilities found with internal scan software in a timely manner
Research remediation steps and make recommendations on resolution
Respond to all requests in a timely manner
Respond to guest requests for technical support
Install hardware and software, to ensure all users can access the data needed to perform their jobs
Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, upgrade as needed
Monitor network traffic and make recommendations on performance enhancements
Maintain user accounts and network security at all times
Conducts file maintenance, purges and backups, as necessary
Conduct routine maintenance and software updates on workstations and printers
Job Qualifications:
Prior IT experience required Prior hospitality / hotel experience preferred
Must be able to communicate via radio and telephone
Must be a team player
Able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Strong communication skills are required
The ideal candidate is friendly, courteous and always smiling (with guests and fellow associates)
