SUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE

Create, develop, implement, and conduct customized learning solutions and onboarding programs, as well as assess their effectiveness enabling the staff to deliver magical and memorable experiences for our guests.

Training & Development

  • Identify training and development needs, working with subject matter experts to identify target audiences.
  • Design, organize, plan, and deliver engaging learning activities and compelling content to address business needs and objectives, including various forms of onboarding, orientation, and programs specific to maintain or improve job skills for staff.
  • Create and/or acquire all supporting material/media for learning solutions, including training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in learning technologies, instructional design and development.
  • Prepare and implement training budget; maintain records and report of expenses.
  • Develop, maintain, and/or support all organizational communication for staff (intranet, newsletters, "We Got This" calls, etc.)
  • Ensure that all communication is translated into Spanish.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure that safety is the number one priority in all training and development initiatives.
  • Coordinate attendance and maintain records of training and development activities, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Assist in the review, development, and tracking of SOP's, policies & procedures, safety inspections, and compliance reporting.

All other duties as assigned

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Regularly required to walk, stand, bend, crouch, balance, use hands/arms to lift/move objects.
  • Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Able to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

 

SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  •     Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
  •     Ability to function well in a high-paced environment. 
  •     Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage and execute tasks in a dynamic environment
  •     Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  •     Strong presentation skills.
  •     Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  •     Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  •     Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
  •     Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
  •     Commitment to excellence - perform duties at the highest level possible on a consistent basis.
  •     Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including battery-operated golf cart 
  •     Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  •     Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field required.
  •     At least two years of training experience required.
