Purchasing Coordinator

As our business continues to grow, FAS Windows & Doors, representing the nation’s most respected brands of windows and doors, seeks a Purchasing Coordinator in our NW Orlando location.  In your new role you will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale to consumers at a retail or wholesale level.  FASWD prides itself on exceptional customer service and we offer fine products from the nation's most respected brands and manufacturers.

This position is responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale to consumers at a retail or wholesale level. You will select, order, and authorize payment for product according to contractual agreements and verify all purchases from conception to completion, using nternal tracking tools to update shipping information. FASWD has a wide variety of product which is ordered using proprietary software from various manufacturers, requiring advanced computer skills.

Duties and Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

1. Audit and order all products for all locations.

2. Process all orders daily with accuracy.

6. Assist with general knowledge questions based on products.

7. Assist with general office duties.

8. Communicate between departments clearly and effectively

9. Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education, experience, knowledge and skills required for this position include:

*High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

*Thorough working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.

*At least one year related purchasing experience is required, preferably in a Home improvement environment.

*Proficiency with Microsoft Office, good computer skills are a must. Window or door proprietary software experience helpful, including Salesforce.

*Excellent administrative, organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills are required.

*Able to assume a natural leadership role and maintain good interpersonal relationships with all departments.

*Must be able to prioritize and multi-task while working in a fast paced environment.
