Doctor - Family Medicine - Medical Doctor (Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred)

Our healthcare organization is looking for a Medical Doctor who can monitor and improve the level of care we provide and help reduce our operational costs over time. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background as a primary care/ family medicine physician, as well as experience in a hospital administration role. The successful applicant will work closely with our executive management team to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve our medical practice. The candidate will amongst other responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the medical board to update, amend, and replace medical policies

• Manage our team of Physicians and ensure that employees are complying with company policies when providing care

• Work directly with providers to educate them on our care process and determine what can be done to improve overall care quality
• Create work groups and leadership committees that are designed to improve patient care and enhance relationships with providers

Skills and qualifications:

• M.D. degree (required)
• Valid license to practice medicine in Florida (required)
• Board Certified
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 10+ years’ experience in clinical medicine
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus)
