SUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE

The Photo & Video Content Coordinator is responsible for capturing, managing, and cataloging digital assets including video and photography to help communicate our brand message and mission. This position plays a key role in supporting Give Kids The World’s social media and public relations efforts, as well as Marketing, Development, and Guest Services Departments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Photography and Videography

  • Uphold branding guidelines and mission integrity across all digital assets.
  • Capture compelling images and video during special events, Welcome Back Family visits, parties and daily wish family activities.
  • Collaborate daily with the social media team to identify needs and anticipate opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas and assets to support public relations, marketing, guest services, development, and social media efforts.
  • Procure images and/or video assets as assigned by team leaders to support marketing and fundraising campaigns.
  • Take wish family photos on a weekly basis, with assistance from Operations.
  • Attend weekly social media, volunteer, guest services and operations meetings to identify and anticipate photography and video needs and opportunities.
  • Create and produce digital assets to support GKTW websites, blogs, vlogs, newsletters, quarterly magazine and other communications tools and programs as needed.
  • Support and collaborate with the Graphic Designer on marketing communications materials.
  • Provide editing and production assistance for special projects.

Digital Asset Management

  • Catalog all historical content, including converting file types.
  • Manage Amazon drive photography and video assets.
  • Serve as the primary resource to deliver photography and video assets to teams upon request.
  • Ensure photography and video assets are up to date and accessible.

Production Assistance

  • Assist visiting media and production teams on-site.
  • Deliver digital assets to media outlets upon request.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to lift and transfer 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when required
  • Work in outdoor weather conditions

 

SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with digital technology and photo editing software packages, including Photoshop, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut.
  • Proven expertise in photography and videography; a portfolio review will be required. 
  • A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done with high quality and attention to detail.
  • Able to collaborate, brainstorm and share ideas with diverse teams across the organization.

  • PC skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Able to operate a motorized vehicle, including a battery-operated golf cart.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience. 
  • Experience in project management software including but not limited to Asana, Base Camp and/or other project management software.
