Kirby Bates Associates, a nationally recognized consulting and executive search firm, is seeking a Vice President (VP) for Executive Search Services. The VP will join a firm dedicated to building leadership teams that advance excellence in healthcare delivery across the industry. Description

The Vice President of Search Services will be responsible for business development, managing external client relationships, and leading executive and senior leadership search engagements. This dynamic individual will participate in cross selling all service lines and in team-oriented initiatives such as multi-consultant proposals to increase the firm’s competitive effectiveness. The Vice President is also expected to advance the profession and field of executive search through writing, presentations and career counseling. The position is virtual and necessary tools and equipment will be provided by the firm.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·    Engages in business development activities to promote growth of the executive search service line and achieve annual revenue goals.

·    Establishes mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships with healthcare executives including new and current clients to secure executive and senior level searches.

·    Effectively leads the assigned KBA team to oversee the research, sourcing, and candidate development processes and assure client expectations are met.

·    Conducts site visits/interviews with client stakeholders to understand the unique organizational culture, expectations, challenges, and deliverables for each search.

·    Provides support and consultation to the hiring executives and client stakeholders to guide the internal selection process and assure successful placements.

·    Facilitates the negotiation of job offers with the candidate and client to achieve a positive outcome.

·    Promotes the continuum of KBA services including executive search, interim leadership, executive advisory and consultation.

·    Supports the alignment of KBA Executive Search Services with Jackson Healthcare and the mission of the organizations.

·    Actively engages in professional associations, forums and events to remain abreast of contemporary issues and provide thought leadership in areas of expertise.

 

Requirements

·     A Bachelor’s degree required and a Master’s Degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.

·     A minimum of five years’ experience in talent acquisition in healthcare with prior experience in search.

·     Proven success in generating new business for executive level searches in the healthcare industry required.

·     Highly collaborative, team oriented professional.

·     Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·     Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to persuade and influence people.

·     Outstanding professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

·     Knowledge and understanding of leadership in the healthcare industry.
