On-call Stockroom Associate

The Stockroom Staff position is an important position that requires fast organization skills and an attention to detail. As Stockroom Staff you will be required to pack items needed for the event, safely and securely load all items in a company vehicle, and unpack items after the company vehicle arrives back to the office, ensuring that all items are clean and properly placed back in the appropriate locations.

The stockroom pay rate starts at $12.00 per hour. The stockroom pay rate goes into effect once all criterion of the Stockroom Certification process have been met. Uncertified staff who work in the stockroom are paid at the rate of $10.00 per hour.

Stockroom Staff must

• be able to work a long, physically demanding shift of 8 hours or more.
• be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs, possibly more with assistance.
• have a general knowledge of where items are located in the stockroom and kitchen.
• be able to safely drive a packed company vehicle.
• have a general knowledge of all items used for events (chafer, muck bucket, jigger, ramekin, etc.).
• possess the ability to count and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• have the ability to safely and securely load a vehicle.
• know how to properly clean, sanitize, and store kitchen & other event items.
• have a valid driver’s license.
