The Bartender position is a very important position that requires a high level of responsibility. As a Bartender you will be required to setup a bar, serve guests during the event while adhering to JM policy and Florida State Laws, and properly breakdown a bar at the end of the event.
Bartenders must
- be at least 18 years of age.
- be able to work a long, physically demanding shift of 6 hours or more.
- be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs, possibly more with assistance.
- have good communication skills.
- possess the ability to count and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- have a general knowledge of overall event flow.
- be able to set up a bar.
- be able to set up a beverage station.
- have general knowledge of Florida laws dealing with the serving of alcohol.
- be able to make basic alcoholic beverages for guest.
- have general knowledge of the effects of alcohol.
- have the ability to interact professionally with an intoxicated guest.
