Position Summary
The Trainer II will have a strong willingness and ability to learn and gain subject-matter expertise of Stellar products and services. Lead and facilitate classroom and virtual training, using provided training materials. Each Trainer II will be responsible for collaboration with other team members to create, develop, present, and improve training materials. Trainer II is required to represent Stellar's commitment to the real estate community out in the field and display professionalism at all times. This position is a full-time, salary, exempt position and reports to the Training Manager.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  •     Fluent in reading, writing and speaking both English and Spanish
  •     Have a strong willingness and ability to learn and gain subject-matter expertise of Stellar products and services.
  •     Present training content in multiple media formats to the customer and/ or staff
  •     Communicate effectively and promptly
  •     Complete assigned projects and task within deadlines
  •     Assists in creating, develop, update, and improve training content
  •     Record, edit, and produce training videos
  •     Communicate with Team Lead or Manager any day-to-day concerns spell may negatively impact the team or Stellar
  •     Travel to conduct training sessions for various vendors and customers
  •     Attend meetings and events to promote the organization and products as assigned
  •     Knowledge or ability to learn the CRM system to enter and update event information, update attendance and cases and other relevant information
  •     Maintain personal schedule and assist in quality control of team schedule
  •     Accurately account for business-related expenses and mileage as well as adhere to all other company policies.
  •     Occasional overtime required
  •     Timely and regular attendance is an essential function of the position; being physically present in the work environment is an essential job function

  •     Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and control a room during presentations, trainings and events
  •     Team-player, with ability to be extremely effective independently
  •     Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple task seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  •     Ability to use basic technology needs for position including but not limited to: computers, tablets, mobile phones, projectors, internet, wireless connections, laser pointer, remotes, audio and able to troubleshoot basic issues when necessary
  •     Ability to adapt to changing environment
  •     Exceptional verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  •     Ability to respond appropriately and professionally while effectively fielding questions and controlling a room during presentations
  •     Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or other form
  •     Possess basic math skills with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent as well as ability to interpret bar graphs
  •     This role frequently works outside of the office, communicates daily through virtual meetings, and is required to travel to in-person training or events
  •     Must be able to work remote when necessary
  •     Experience with LMS (Learning Management System) a plus
  •     Spanish speaking a plus
  •     Previous Real Estate related experience preferred

  •     Acceptable vision (with or without correction)
  •     Acceptable hearing (with or without correction)
  •     Bending on occasion
  •     Talking for long periods of time, approximately 8-10 hours a day
  •     Lifting up to approximately 20 pounds occasionally
  •     Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time approximately, approximately 8-10 hours a day
  •     Writing and/or typing for long periods of time, approximately 8-10 hours a day

Education, Certifications, and Software

  •     Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience in the real estate industry or MLS experience
  •     Training related education or experience
  •     Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), WebEx, GoToWebinar and other related software
