Course Support
- Assist in the management of class sessions for interactive group learning in the blended learning curriculum.
- In collaboration with the faculty, academic coordinators, and instructional design team, assist with the management and delivery of multiple courses, including course content, and other course related materials.
- Responsible for partnering with the instructional technologies team to get course content delivered/executed.
Student and Faculty Support
- Responsible for support relating to the delivery of the course with the ability to perform independently with input from the faculty member.
- Serve as the primary liaison for student contact in reference to course logistics at the Lake Nona Campus.
- Communicates, and conveys pertinent information to students, providing information as requested including accessing learning materials and directions for assignments.
- This position requires the ability to provide problem resolution and effective decision-making concerning student issues.
Student Affairs Support These duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Campus operations for student affairs including record keeping, course registration, campus communication, student organizations, leadership development, student conduct, and other various program/curriculum specific requirements impacting students.
- Assisting with recruitment and community relations.
- Incumbent will visit local schools and agencies to attract students to program by meeting with students and representatives, and participating in special events.
- Works in collaboration with Communications Director to impact local recruitment strategy.
- Manages campus tour program for external and special guests and coordinates student volunteer schedules.
- Collaborates with the Academic Program Specialist II and various campuses and college units to coordinate College-wide events such as Orientation, Professional Coating Ceremony, Spring Awards and Graduation.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor includes but is not limited to:
- Periodic maintenance and updates of forms, and web content
- Create and update forms and policies as needed for each program
- Assist with student portfolios and document required program activities
This is a 10 month annual position with June/July as the typical off months based on the academic calendar each year.
