Shifts Availability

• (1) FT from 4pm to 11pm
• (1) FT with am/pm flexibility

Position Objective

Provide support to servers and act as a liaison between the culinary staff and front of the house service. Create excellent dining experiences for our members and guests by anticipating their needs and serving them in a professional and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions

• Assists with confirming orders from the kitchen are accurate and presentable. Assists with garnishing and decorating dishes as needed prior to serving.
• Anticipates the members or guest needs. Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Assists servers with pre bussing in between courses.  Assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room.  Clears and resets tables at conclusion of dining experience.
• Displays knowledge of all menus for all meal periods.
• Completes daily checklists of duties and monitors linen supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager.

Education/Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hiring.
• 1-year previous experience as a server or server assistant in an upscale restaurant, hotel/resort or private club environment. 
• Preferred Food Safety Certification and/or TIPS training.

Requirements

• Maintain the highest level of safety and cleanliness
• Be physically able to reach, bend, and stoop.
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to work in a hot, cold, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
• Frequently exposed to inclement weather.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Candidates in this role must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Position requires flexibility in scheduling to work days/nights, weekends, holidays and rotating schedules.
