Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides programs and services for children and adolescents who face significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. Located in MetroWest Orlando, FL, this position is responsible for developing monthly structured activities for the individuals we serve and ensuring these activities are scheduled per the clients level. This individual will also train staff to implement activities and will provide the necessary equipment, supplies, and facilities to carry out the activities. This person will also assist with training new hires during the on boarding process with completing of point sheets, DCP notes; Coaching Essential Skills, and training new Hires on D-PBIS.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
- 1 year residential experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to complete a one-week (Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day
- Must be able to work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 12:00pm - 9:00pm & Wednesday, Thursday from 3-11pm
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test, Physical, Physical Abilities Test, TB Test. Devereux requires all employees to obtain the annual Influenza Vaccine.
- Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
