The Opportunity:

Operating under intermittent supervision, performs and supports services in the development and administration of Talent Acquisition programs. Responsible for implementing and supporting recruitment strategies that attract and retain qualified and diverse candidates for temporary vacancies.

Responsibilities:

  • Determines appropriate screening strategies and interview questions based on the competencies identified in the job profile and to fill temporary department needs.
  • Screens candidates to identify top talent to forward to the hiring manager for final interviews. Prequalifies potential candidates using multiple tools including interviews.
  • Proactively identifies and develops a pipeline of applicants aligned to specific business units/colleges utilizing multiple strategies.
  • Sources candidates for temporary positions via a variety of platforms, i.e. social sites, social networking, employee referrals and other advertisements.
  • Builds talent networks internally and externally to the university to find qualified active and passive candidates.
  • Ensures compliance with Affirmative Action Plan goals and help proactively source to build diverse candidate pools.
  • Provides support and reporting on recruitment activities, strategic initiatives, and special projects that further UCF HR and university talent acquisition priorities. Assists in maintaining statistics on vacancies and recruitment metrics and analytics.
