Job Responsibilities:

Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards, maintain the presence of the dock during dock hours. Maintain dock safety program and dock parking and direct traffic. Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate requirements. Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities. Ensure the loading dock is free of obstructions to allow traffic flow in the area. Document and issue visitor passes to authorized visitors and vendors. Control staging of deliveries to maximize space. Provide assistant to vendors/visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Ensure load in and load out for groups and productions are controlled. Ability to read and understand group resume details. Conduct rounds throughout the resort, paying particular attention to unsecured areas. All discrepancies must be documented. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which will include wearing the proper uniform, name tag and only issued equipment. Comply at all times with Caribe Royale Orlando standards and regulations to encourage a safe and efficient resort operation. Assist guests to their rooms or assist guests w/entry into their rooms according to hotel standards. Assist during medical emergencies. Maintain continual surveillance of resort areas, bordering property, and CCTV systems. Use proper radio etiquette at all times. Complete security activity logs, documenting all activity during shift. Respond to all incidents in a timely manner. Ensure all incident reports are completed accurately. Defuse any incidents of threats or violence within the resort. Respond to emergency situations, including medical, security, guest complaints, etc. Administer First Aid/CPR as necessary. Control all keys within the guidelines established. Check all packages and Associate bags via the staff entrance/exit, or entrance of the parking areas. Check and record identification of suspicious persons. Receive and process all lost and found items as per procedures established.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma Experience in a large hotel environment preferred. Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus. Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks. Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and MS Shift. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 100 pounds. Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.Why work for The Caribe Royale Orlando?
