Starting Salary:Mechanic I$15.90 to 20.27, depending on qualificationsMechanic II$16.85 to 21.49, depending on qualifications Mechanic III$17.87 to 22.78, depending on qualifications Mechanic IV$18.94 to 24.14, depending on qualifications

NATURE OF WORK:

Performs mechanical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wastewater treatment equipment and machinery. Determines nature of malfunctions and suggests how to repair, or if equipment should be returned to the shop for a major overhaul. Decides when shafts need lubricating, additional oil for the engine is needed, plugs, points, etc. May be required to work in confined spaces.

• Iron Bridge Facility, 601 Iron Bridge Circle, Oviedo
• Lift Station Facility, 5100 L.B. McLeod Rd., Orlando
