The Opportunity:

The Administrative Assistant I position reports directly to the Student Services Manager and is responsible for assisting the Office of Graduate Programs at UCF Downtown with administrative duties associated with the office operations and student and faculty experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with administrative duties related to graduate programs and the Office of Graduate Program at UCF Downtown.

  • Assists with administrative duties associated with events including orientation, networking events, holiday party, and graduation celebrations.

  • Assists with catering and beverage services and inventory.

  • Interacts with students and faculty in person and via phone and report any inquiries or issues to the Student Services Manager.

  • Works with Student Services Manager with classroom upkeep, including regularly checking classrooms, executive breakroom, and Bloomberg Lab to ensure spaces have functioning technology and classroom equipment. This includes submitting work orders and UCF IT technology support tickets and follow up.

  • Assists with student registration if needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with professional and executive graduate business students.

  • Experience with catering planning and communicating with local caterers.

  • Experience using Workday and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions platforms.
