Knights Major Exploration and Transition Center:

The Knights Major Exploration and Transition Center (KMETC) is the academic advising office for UCF's undergraduate undeclared and major exploring students. Through our office, students can explore majors through self-exploration and guidance provided by professional academic advisors and peer advisors.

The Opportunity:

KMETC is seeking an individual with an advertising and film background to serve as an Audio-Visual Support specialist. Working on special projects, this position would create informational videos for KMETC, its services, and initiatives provided to the undeclared and major exploring undergraduate student population at UCF.

Responsibilities:

  • Create creative and innovative pitch ideas to promote KMETC, its services and initiatives.

  • Develop storyboards, to include but not limited to individual shots, sequences, descriptions, and camera work.

  • Create script outline, to include but not limited to: KMETC messaging and services, and interview questions on both film and voice-over.

  • Coordinate informational interviews to be used in multiple videos.

  • Film, proof footage and sequence shots to produce finalized videos between 30 seconds and 1 minute.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and 0+yrs of experience with proficiency in Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Organizational and leadership skills

  • Current students in Advertising and/or Film programs

  • Technical working knowledge of video/film/audio production and post-production

  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art equipment for video/audio production.
