Job Summary:

The Senior Member Outreach Officer serves as lead business developer representing EdFed within a defined geographic area. Incumbents in this position will be responsible for acquiring new sponsor groups, community business partners and driving membership and loan growth to help the Credit Union achieve its strategic goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must possess all of the competencies of a Member Outreach Officer II
  • Actively works to identify new business growth opportunities at the direction of department leadership
  • Conducts outreach to local schools to negotiate onsite access and marketing opportunities
  • Represents EdFed at consumer tradeshows including Home, Boat and Recreational Vehicle shows
  • Actively prospects for community business partners including auto dealers, realtor groups and education-affiliated associations
  • Conducts daily out calls, email marketing and local networking to onboard new business prospects
  • Takes the lead role in staging marketing and promotional events; ensures event results meet established production expectations
  • Manages a production pipeline for new business by balancing field-based activities to ensure appropriate balance of existing business partner marketing and new SEG activation efforts
  • Makes daily updates to contact management database to detail all sales and prospecting activities including relevant relationship insights for key SEGs and community partners
  • Participates in business strategy sessions to formulate department goals and marketing strategies
  • Provides supplemental supervisions to Member Outreach Officers I, and Member Outreach Officers II in the absence of Member Outreach Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination
  • 2-4 years of Experience within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities
